Wait, how is this already closed before the DNC? I specifically signed up for Polymarket for this particular bet and had made a pretty decent bet against Kamala making it as the nominee post-DNC. Have funds been paid to winners or is the contract still in escrow?

I dispute this outcome. The DNC has not met and the electors have not voted officially. The resolution shows democrats.org as a source but nowhere does it say on that site that the democrat nominee has been officially chosen. This needs to be reopened until the DNC completes its process and the convention is over.

This market was supposed to be closed on 21st of August after the DNC. How do we dispute this?

This is a 328 million dollars market. It's a lot, it's a serious crime to close it arbitrarily without any official announcement and two weeks before the convention, and with people still opening positions. The owners or employees must have a conflict of interest, I don't see any other plausible reason for this early closing of the market which is in violation of your own terms. There should be a class action against Polymarket, if it has any legal status.

the only way to make this right, would be to create a new bet for who will be the official announcement from the dnc, and offer credits to those who were holding in this market. or even reopen this one, create a new way to make a new, second dispute, to review and reopen. because there's still one final annoucement to really make it official. from the fucking DNC
