Trader consensus on Brandon Aiyuk's 2026-27 team remains tightly fragmented due to the 49ers' ongoing contract impasse, with voided 2026 guarantees and $30 million-plus dead cap hit deterring trade partners amid minimal league interest. Recent ESPN reporting highlights a likely post-June 1 release to optimize cap allocation, positioning Aiyuk as a premier unrestricted free agent wide receiver despite his knee injury sidelining him since October 2024. This uncertainty fuels even implied probabilities across all 32 teams, with slight edges to Jets, Packers, and Lions from their WR depth needs, quarterback stability with Aaron Rodgers, Jordan Love, and Jared Goff, plus ample cap space for a high-upside separator in a thin free-agent class.
