This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 National League Platinum Glove award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The recent announcement of 2024 NL Gold Glove winners has tightened trader consensus around Pete Crow-Armstrong (outfield), Brice Turang (second base), Ke'Bryan Hayes (third base), Patrick Bailey (catcher), and Masyn Winn (shortstop), with their implied probabilities clustering at 33-36% as voters weigh positional excellence for Platinum Glove honors. Fernando Tatis Jr.'s elite arm strength and range in right field keep him even despite missing a Gold Glove, while Matt Chapman's consistent metrics and Brenton Doyle's center field prowess add depth to the field. Advanced stats like DRS and UZR show minimal separation among these defenders, fueling the dead heat as Platinum voters—managers and players—eye the NL's most outstanding overall fielder ahead of next week's reveal.
