This market will resolve to the manager who wins the 2026 National League Manager of the Year award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the manager whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Trader consensus on Polymarket's NL Manager of the Year market reveals a dead heat among early frontrunners Don Kelly (Pirates, 44.5%), Clayton McCullough (Marlins, 43.5%), Carlos Mendoza (Mets, 43.5%), and Rob Thomson (Phillies, 43.5%), reflecting the season's nascent stage just three games in. Kelly's slight edge stems from Pittsburgh's low preseason expectations paired with breakout stars like Paul Skenes, amplified by his promotion to full-time manager after a solid interim stint, priming the Pirates for overachievement—a classic Manager of the Year trajectory seen in recent winners like Pat Murphy. Differentiators include turnaround narratives for rebuilding squads (Marlins under rookie McCullough, Nationals' Blake Butera), Mets' offensive fireworks in their Opening Day rout of Pittsburgh, and Phillies' postseason pedigree, amid historical BBWAA preference for surprise contenders. Momentum hinges on opening weekend sweeps, injuries, and divisional hot starts before April's full slate.
