This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 American League Platinum Glove award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Trader consensus prices the 2026 AL Platinum Glove race as highly competitive, with Matt Chapman, Ty France, Bobby Witt Jr., and Ceddanne Rafaela clustered between 31-36.5%, reflecting a deep pool of returning 2025 Gold Glove winners whose elite defensive metrics—high Outs Above Average, Defensive Runs Saved, and arm strength—carry strong momentum into the new season. France's first-base mastery earned him last year's hardware after stints with Minnesota and Toronto, while Royals infielders Witt (reigning Platinum recipient and SS Gold Glover) and Maikel Garcia reprise their dynamic range. Red Sox outfielders Rafaela and Wilyer Abreu add center-field pursuit and right-field cannon arm, with Steven Kwan's left-field consistency rounding out the bunched leaders amid balanced projections and no early-season disruptions.
