This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 American League Comeback Player of the Year award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Trader consensus in the AL Comeback Player of the Year market reflects a fiercely competitive race, with Adley Rutschman and Kristian Campbell deadlocked at 43% implied probability amid surging performances from Jonathan India, Yordan Alvarez, Gerrit Cole, Mike Trout, Zack Gelof, and Anthony Volpe clustered between 40-43%. Rutschman's steady power resurgence for the Orioles, Campbell's breakout rookie flashes post-minors, Cole's dominant return from Tommy John rehab with ace-level ERA, and Trout's elite OPS in limited Angels action despite injury history have fueled the bunched pricing. Recent hot streaks—like Gelof's extra-base hits and Alvarez's homer binge—over the past two weeks have erased earlier leads, underscoring the wisdom of crowds in valuing total WAR contributions and narrative-driven recoveries in a wide-open field.
