This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 National League Cy Young Award. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Early-season stumbles by defending NL Cy Young winner Paul Skenes, who posted a disastrous 0.2 innings with five earned runs in his debut, have narrowed the gap to challengers, fueling trader consensus on a bunched race. Pittsburgh Pirates teammate Mitch Keller enters healthy with three years of control and strong spring training form as the rotation's reliable workhorse, while Phillies lefty Cristopher Sanchez—2025 runner-up and fresh off a six-year extension—dominated his opener with six scoreless innings and 10 strikeouts. Padres ace Michael King, re-signed after an injury-plagued 2025, adds depth with his prior 2.95 ERA campaign. With workloads, ERA races, and innings totals uncertain across a grueling 162-game schedule, the wisdom of crowds prices a competitive field where any frontrunner could seize control amid rotation health and matchup edges.
