Trader consensus reflects an exceptionally tight race atop the Texas Children's Houston Open market, with Davis Chatfield, Brice Garnett, Brian Campbell, and Patton Kizzire clustered around 43% implied probabilities amid a wide-open PGA Tour field at Memorial Park Golf Course. No dominant favorite has emerged pre-tournament, as top-seeded stars like Min Woo Lee (8%) and Aaron Rai (6%) trail due to inconsistent recent form and limited course history on the demanding, renovated layout favoring ball-strikers with strong approach play. Mid-tier contenders and amateurs like Nick Dunlap and Luke Clanton draw support from strong strokes gained metrics in putting and scrambling from recent Korn Ferry Tour events, while big names such as Tony Finau (2.4%) and Shane Lowry (1.9%) face skepticism over Houston struggles. Absent injury news or withdrawals in the past 48 hours, parity in rest advantages and weather-neutral conditions keeps probabilities bunched, highlighting upset potential across the 156-player roster.
