Jannik Sinner's commanding hard-court form, including his US Open 2024 title over Taylor Fritz and Shanghai Masters victory last week, has traders pricing him as a slim 39.5% implied probability favorite for the 2026 US Open, just ahead of Carlos Alcaraz at 36%. Alcaraz's quarterfinal exit to Frances Tiafoe at Flushing Meadows amid minor injury concerns, followed by his Shanghai withdrawal, tempered his momentum despite prior Olympic singles gold and clay/grass Grand Slam triumphs at French Open and Wimbledon 2024. This tight race underscores the duo's youth (Sinner 23, Alcaraz 21), ATP top rankings, and head-to-head parity on hard courts, with Novak Djokovic's 6.1% share reflecting age-related risks at 39 and recent injury setbacks, while rising talents like Joao Fonseca hover around 2% on breakout potential.
