Trader consensus on Polymarket reflects a razor-thin lead for Jeff Bezos at 49% implied probability to acquire the Seattle Seahawks, just ahead of Larry Ellison's 45.5%, following the Paul G. Allen estate's formal sale process launch on February 18—mere weeks after the franchise's Super Bowl LX triumph inflated its valuation toward $10-11 billion. Bezos' longstanding local roots through Amazon's Seattle headquarters and prior NFL pursuit (passing on the Commanders) give him a slight edge, but Ellison's comparable $200B+ fortune, sports investments like Hawaiian island Lanai, and aggressive bidding history keep the race deadlocked amid no public bids or frontrunners. Mariners owner John Stanton's 27.5% trails on regional appeal, while celebrity locals like LeBron James, Marshawn Lynch, Macklemore, Bill Gates, and Steve Ballmer hover lower as traders factor lengthy NFL approval and potential ownership groups.
