Liverpool's flawless five-win run in the UEFA Champions League league phase keeps the "Unbeaten Champion" market tightly balanced at 51% "No," as traders weigh their title aspirations against the gauntlet ahead. No outright favorite remains unbeaten—Real Madrid's recent 0-1 upset loss to Lille, alongside prior defeats for Manchester City, Arsenal, and PSG, has culled top contenders early. Benfica and Barcelona also trail without losses but lag in overall odds. The wisdom of crowds highlights knockout volatility, where head-to-head clashes, travel fatigue, and high-stakes pressure historically derail perfect records—no team has won unbeaten since Porto in 2004. A Liverpool slip in upcoming fixtures or their deep run could swing probabilities sharply.
