Recent test flights, including Flight 13 in July 2026, have advanced Starship's heat shield performance and enabled the first intact upper stage splashdown, yet neither the Super Heavy booster nor the Starship spacecraft has demonstrated repeated tower catches followed by rapid reflights with minimal refurbishment. Elon Musk has projected the first ship reflight for late 2026 or early 2027, while Flight 14's planned September orbital attempt and payload deployment remain unproven steps toward full system reuse. Regulatory approvals, engine relight reliability, and the shift from splashdowns to tower recovery continue to pose execution risks that keep trader consensus favoring incomplete reusability by the end of 2026.

This market will resolve to "Yes" if SpaceX or Elon Musk announces that Starship is fully reusable by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".
Note, this market refers to the Starship upper stage and does not require reusability for the Super-Heavy booster.
For this market to resolve to "Yes" it is not necessary that an actual reuse occur, only that SpaceX or Elon Musk announces that Starship is fully reusable by this market's resolution date.
The resolution source for this market is announcements by Elon Musk and SpaceX, or their official representatives.
