This market will resolve to "Yes" if SpaceX files a Form S-1 or F-1 registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission by the listed date 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". A qualifying filing includes either (a) a publicly available filing on the SEC’s EDGAR database, or (b) a confidential submission that is explicitly confirmed by SpaceX or reported as completed by a consensus of credible reporting. A filing must be confirmed or announced as having been completed within the market’s timeframe to qualify. Confirmations, announcements, or reporting that occur after the end date will not be considered, even if the filing itself occurred within the timeframe. The primary resolution source will be official filings from the SEC; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.SpaceX's confidential filing of an S-1 registration statement with the SEC, reported on April 1, 2026, represents the primary catalyst shifting trader sentiment toward near-term IPO resolution, potentially enabling a blockbuster public debut as early as June or July at a $1.75 trillion valuation and up to $75 billion raise. Elon Musk dismissed rumors of a $2 trillion target as "BS," underscoring valuation discipline amid Starship's rapid iteration—next V3 flight in 4-6 weeks—and Starlink's orbital dominance. Competitive pressures from AI-heavy rivals like xAI add urgency, while upcoming public S-1 disclosure, SEC review, and roadshows will dictate timeline; historical precedents suggest 3-6 months from confidential filing to listing, though Musk's control via dual-class shares preserves strategic flexibility.
