Napoli leads the Serie A table with 19 points after a convincing 2-0 victory over Milan on matchday 7, bolstering their credentials for a top 4 finish and Champions League qualification. Inter Milan sits second on 17 points, maintaining consistency despite a recent draw, while Atalanta (16 points) and Juventus (16 points) occupy third and fourth following strong wins—Atalanta's 5-0 thrashing of Como and Juventus' solid defensive display. Milan has slipped to 10th amid injuries to key attackers like Rafael Leão and poor form, opening the race. Upcoming fixtures include Inter's clash with Roma and Juventus facing Inter in the Derby d'Italia, with European commitments adding fatigue risks for top clubs; goal difference and head-to-head results will prove decisive in a tightly contested battle.
