Trader consensus in the MLS 2026 Goalkeeper of the Year market reflects a fiercely competitive talent pool, with Michael Collodi (31%) narrowly leading Yohei Takaoka (30.5%), Luis Barraza (28.2%), Kristijan Kahlina (27.8%), and Joe Willis (27.6%) in a top-five bunch spanning just 3.4 points. This tightness stems from strong 2024 form across MLS and USL Championship, where Collodi's Sacramento Republic shutout record and MVP buzz signal MLS-bound potential, Takaoka's Houston Dynamo save percentage tops the league, Barraza dominates USL clean sheets, Kahlina vies for MLS Golden Glove with Charlotte FC's late surge, and Willis anchors Nashville SC reliably. As playoffs approach, no keeper has separated amid youth upside, veteran stability, and transfer speculation keeping probabilities evenly distributed.
