Trader consensus heavily favors Belgium at 68% implied probability to win Group G, driven by their top-10 FIFA ranking and dominant 5-2 friendly victory over host nation USA on March 28, showcasing attacking depth from stars like Kevin De Bruyne and Jeremy Doku amid a refreshed squad post-qualifiers. Egypt holds second at 20% thanks to Mohamed Salah's elite form and coach Hossam Hassan's tactical setup, positioning them as competitive spoilers in a group returning since 2018. Iran (4.7%) benefits from FIFA's recent confirmation of their U.S. matches despite tensions and a 5-0 friendly rout of Costa Rica, while New Zealand (2.6%) lags as the lowest-ranked side despite a historic 4-1 upset of Chile last week, underscoring their underdog status against stronger head-to-head matchups.
