Michigan (20.5%) edges Arizona (20.2%) and Duke (17.5%) atop trader consensus for the 2026 NCAA Tournament, driven by their top-tier 2025 recruiting classes that promise freshman-led firepower amid a reloading landscape. Dusty May's Michigan boasts a top-five haul plus portal reinforcements like Canadian guard Isaiah Evans, rivaling Arizona's No. 1 class featuring five-star forwards Koa Peat and Dwayne Aristode, and Duke's elite trio headlined by No. 1 recruit Cooper Flagg. This tight clustering highlights roster-building parity, transfer portal volatility, and 18-month uncertainties like chemistry and injuries, tempering enthusiasm for Houston's defensive continuity or Purdue's post-Edey rebuild.
