Mohamed Salah's recent confirmation of his Liverpool departure at the end of the 2025/26 season—via mutual contract termination despite a 2025 extension—has solidified Saudi Pro League clubs like Al-Ittihad as the trader consensus frontrunner at 66.5% implied probability, fueled by renewed interest and eye-watering offers exceeding £150m from prior bids, aiming to pair him with stars like Ronaldo amid the league's global push. MLS trails at 21.5% on speculation from expansion sides like San Diego FC seeking a Messi-style marquee signing, while Serie A (11%) and Süper Lig (10.7%) reflect tentative links to Inter Milan and Fenerbahce, respectively, though European options face wage and role hurdles in a competitive transfer window. Recent form dips and Slot tensions accelerated the exit timeline.
