This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 American League Cy Young Award. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Trader consensus reflects a fiercely competitive AL Cy Young race, with Ranger Suárez (26.1%), Tarik Skubal (26.0%), and Jacob deGrom (21.5%) tightly bunched atop the market after Suárez's January signing with the Red Sox on a five-year, $130 million deal, bolstering Boston's rotation. Skubal, the back-to-back winner in 2024-25, dominated his season-opening start against San Diego with six strikeouts in six innings, reinforcing his elite strikeout dominance and innings-eating prowess. DeGrom's successful spring ramp-up, including multiple strong outings, signals full health after injury-plagued years, positioning the Rangers ace for high-volume excellence. A deep field including breakout candidate Garrett Crochet and Max Fried's Opening Day gem for the Yankees keeps probabilities fluid amid uncertain workloads, run support, and durability in a stacked American League pitching landscape.
