Trader consensus in the UEFA Champions League market tilts slightly toward a champion suffering at least one defeat, with "No" at 51.5% implied probability, reflecting the league phase's unpredictability where top contenders like Real Madrid (defeated by Lille) and Barcelona (lost to Bayern Munich) have already dropped points. Liverpool leads unbeaten on maximum points from four wins, alongside Atalanta and Benfica, creating balance as these sides face tougher fixtures ahead, including potential knockout playoffs. Historical trends show no team has won the competition unbeaten since Porto in 2004, amid high-stakes clashes; a Liverpool stumble against high-table opponents or surprise unbeaten run by an underdog like Aston Villa could swing odds sharply.
