Carlos Alcaraz's dramatic four-set victory over 10-time champion Novak Djokovic in the 2026 Australian Open men's singles final—2-6, 6-2, 6-3, 7-5—has driven trader consensus to 99.9% implied probability for him as winner, completing his career Grand Slam as the youngest man ever at age 22. As top seed and world No. 1, Alcaraz navigated a tough hard-court draw, including marathon second-round win over Yannick Hanfmann, showcasing superior pace, precision, and comeback resilience on Melbourne Park's Plexicushion surface. Grigor Dimitrov exited early, losing in straight sets to Tomas Machac in the first round. With official results confirmed, only an unprecedented appeal or disqualification could alter resolution, though none are indicated.
