The 16-year-old Russian prodigy advanced through qualifiers with aggressive forehand play and upset higher seeds in her last WTT Contender, building momentum from junior dominance, while the Taiwanese veteran Chien relies on consistent defense and counter-attacks, reaching the round of 16 via steady wins over mid-tier opponents. No head-to-head history adds uncertainty; late scratches or confirmed lineups from today's draw could shift odds, as could on-table factors like serve efficiency in best-of-seven format.
