Trader consensus reflects a razor-thin 50% implied probability for top seed Cheon-Hui Joo in the WTT Contender Tunis women's singles final against Elizabet Abraamian, balancing Joo's superior ITTF World Ranking of 17 against Abraamian's breakout semifinal upset of No. 3 seed Nina Mittelham (WR 65) in a grueling 3-2 thriller. Joo advanced more decisively, dispatching Margaryta Pesotska (WR 66) 3-0 in semis after straight-set wins over Szu-Yu Chen and Izabela Lupulesku, showcasing her right-hand shakehand attack efficiency. No prior singles head-to-head exists, heightening uncertainty; Abraamian's resilience from five-set battles could test Joo's stamina, while Joo's cleaner path and higher ranking favor control in the best-of-seven format. Late scratches or warm-up form might shift sentiment.
