Yashaswini Ghorpade's No. 93 ITTF world ranking and surging form—highlighted by her maiden Senior National women's singles title last week and a straight-sets R32 win over Yuka Kaneyoshi at WTT Contender Tunis 2026—anchor trader consensus at 90.5% implied probability in this women's singles round of 16 matchup. Ioana Singeorzan, ranked No. 162 as a wildcard entrant, impressed with an upset over No. 8 seed Christina Kallberg in R32 but faces steep barriers against Ghorpade's higher ranking and momentum from recent WTT Star Contender Chennai mixed doubles final. No head-to-head history exists, though table tennis upsets remain possible amid stylistic contrasts in shakehand play.
