The matchup remains closely contested given their 1-1 overall H2H, comparable veteran clay records (Gorgodze 436-274 career, 3-3 in 2026; Bolsova 198-117 career, 1-1 this year), and shared struggles in recent outings—Gorgodze's Miami qualifying loss last week and Bolsova's ITF Sabadell clay exit. Developments like rain delays on outdoor Har-Tru courts, last-minute fitness updates, or sharp on-site practice could sway the balance toward either lefty Gorgodze's resilience or Bolsova's baseline grinding.
