With the Baltimore Orioles (2-2 in AL East) visiting the Chicago White Sox (1-3 in AL Central) on April 6 at Guaranteed Rate Field, trader consensus reflects the Orioles' overwhelming head-to-head dominance—17-3 over the last 20 meetings—bolstered by superior rotation depth despite reliever injuries like Andrew Kittredge's shoulder issue and Keegan Akin's groin strain, both out until early April. Zach Eflin emerges as the probable starter for Baltimore after his March 31 outing versus Texas. Chicago grapples with pitching woes, including Drew Thorpe and Mike Vasil on the 15-day injured list post-Tommy John surgery, though Munetaka Murakami's three straight homers provide offensive spark. Cool early-April weather and White Sox bullpen vulnerabilities loom as key factors in this low-stakes early-season tilt.
