Rocha holds a clear clay edge with an 11-3 YTD record, including a recent Brasilia Challenger title, bolstering his baseline grinding suited to the surface, while the taller 6-3 Kjaer leverages power serving from recent hard-court exposure despite a 0-4 YTD skid there. Competitive balance stems from youth (21 vs. 19), close rankings, and stylistic contrast—Rocha's two-handed backhand defense versus Kjaer's reach. Odds could shift on pre-match injury reports, wind-affected clay conditions, or Rocha's potential fatigue from a March 29 qualifier versus David Jorda Sanchis.
