Top-seeded Cheon-Hui Joo, world No. 17, defeated fourth-seeded Margaryta Pesotska (world No. 66) in the WTT Contender Tunis 2026 women's singles semifinal earlier on March 28, propelling trader consensus to 100% implied probability for Joo as the official result confirms her victory and final berth against Elizabet Abraamian. Joo's superior stamina shone in a grueling marathon point, capping her dominant run through qualifiers-beating Yashaswini Ghorpade in the quarterfinals—while her strong late-2025 form in WTT Star Contender Muscat and Finals Hong Kong reinforced pre-match favoritism. With the outcome verified on worldtabletennis.com draws and no disputes reported, resolution is near-certain barring an extraordinary appeal or administrative reversal.
