Trader consensus has priced Darko Jorgic at a near-certain 99.7% implied probability to defeat Dimitrij Ovtcharov in their ITTF World Cup Macao 2026 Round of 16 men's singles matchup, driven by Jorgic's dominant early control—culminating in a swift 4-1 victory in just 38 minutes with superior serve efficiency (30 points won)—following Ovtcharov's exhausting comeback win over Liang Jingkun the prior day. Ranked #16 to Ovtcharov's #25 in ITTF standings, Slovenia's Jorgic enters with stronger recent form and fresher legs in this best-of-seven encounter, amplifying his stylistic edges in power and consistency. Realistic shifts remain possible via Ovtcharov resurgence, Jorgic injury, or contentious umpire calls before official resolution.
