Trader consensus slightly favors Jang Woojin at 51.5% implied probability for their ITTF World Cup Macao 2026 men's singles Round of 16 matchup scheduled today, reflecting his hot streak after 3-0 group stage wins over Chang Yu-An and Yukiya Uda, plus a pivotal 3-1 head-to-head victory over Matsushima at February's Singapore Smash. Matsushima, seeded higher at ITTF #8 versus Jang's #10, counters with strong recent form including a March upset of Wang Chuqin at WTT Champions Chongqing and All-Japan title, creating the razor-thin balance. Momentum from Jang's shakehand attack in this event edges odds, but Matsushima's ranking and stylistic matchup could swiftly shift probabilities with an early lead.
