This market will resolve to "Yes" if, for any of the days within this market's timeframe, Taiwan's Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) reports a daily COVID-19 case count of 40,000 or more new cases. Otherwise, if no such report is made, this market will resolve to "No". The sum of both domestic and imported cases counts in this market. The timeframe for this market is May 2 to May 16, 2022 (inclusive), referring to the dates published in Taiwan's CECC reports. The data will be checked daily at 10 AM ET, with the last check being performed on May 17, 2022, 10 AM ET. This market will resolve based on press releases from Taiwan's CECC, which publishes daily numbers for COVID-19 cases on their website https://www.cdc.gov.tw/En/Bulletin/List/7tUXjTBf6paRvrhEl-mrPg and on Twitter https://twitter.com/taiwan_cdc, as well as the respective dates. The CECC reports daily case counts at around 2:00-2:10 PM local time (GMT+8). Note that both domestic and imported cases count for this market; the headline total daily number will be used.
