Trader consensus tilts slightly toward "No" at 51.5% implied probability for an unbeaten Europa League champion through the knockout stages, driven by punishing quarter-final draws pitting powerhouses like Aston Villa—riding a seven-match winning streak—against Bologna, owners of an 11-game unbeaten run in Europe. Porto face resurgent Nottingham Forest, while Real Betis meet Braga and Freiburg challenge Celta Vigo in two-legged ties where aggregate scores often hinge on away goals or extra time. Recent round-of-16 advances featured narrow margins and draws, underscoring upset potential; first-leg results on April 9 could shift odds if favorites drop points, with injuries or suspensions in high-stakes matchups tipping the balance toward a flawless knockout path or inevitable stumble.
