Lautaro Martinez holds a commanding lead in the 2025-26 Serie A scoring race with 17 goals through 29 appearances for Inter Milan, outpacing the nearest challengers at 13 goals apiece. His consistent finishing, combined with Inter’s strong attacking setup and favorable schedule positioning, has solidified trader consensus around his implied probability exceeding 99 percent for the Capocannoniere award. Recent momentum, including strong performances into May, further reinforces this edge over teammates like Marcus Thuram and rivals such as Donyell Malen or Anastasios Douvikas. A realistic shift would require Martinez to miss multiple remaining fixtures through injury or suspension while one or more pursuers deliver an improbable goal surge in the final weeks, though the current four-goal margin leaves limited room for such an outcome.
