The Philadelphia Phillies, holding a 32-29 record and second place in the NL East, travel to Rogers Centre for a three-game interleague series against the 29-33 Toronto Blue Jays starting June 8. Philadelphia enters with recent momentum after back-to-back wins over the Padres, highlighted by Cristopher Sánchez extending his scoreless innings streak and Zack Wheeler maintaining a strong 2.27 ERA. Toronto, positioned in the middle of the AL East, hosts the matchup on its home field following a recent road loss to Atlanta. Key factors include both clubs’ bullpen usage patterns, starting pitching matchups, and how the Phillies’ power hitting aligns with Rogers Centre dimensions after their strong May road performance.
