Both the Baltimore Orioles and Toronto Blue Jays enter the AL East matchup after splitting their most recent four-game series at Camden Yards, with the Orioles rallying for late wins including a 9-5 victory on May 31 behind Kyle Bradish’s six shutout innings and Colton Cowser’s power surge. The Blue Jays reached .500 for the first time since early April with strong recent form but have blown multiple late leads, including a 5-1 ninth-inning collapse. Baltimore sits at 28-32 while Toronto stands at 29-31, both trailing the division leaders amid a tough early schedule. Key factors include pitching matchups, bullpen reliability, and ongoing roster adjustments such as Toronto’s recent call-ups, all shaping the competitive balance in this longstanding rivalry.
