Paris Saint-Germain holds a slim one-point lead over RC Lens atop the Ligue 1 table after 26-27 matches played, with both securing Champions League spots barring catastrophe, thanks to PSG's dominant 4-0 away win at Nice last week reclaiming the summit and Lens's emphatic 5-1 home thrashing of Angers showcasing their attacking prowess. Olympique de Marseille clings to third on 49 points, two clear of tied Lyon and Lille on 47, while AS Monaco lurks one point further back at 46 amid a strong surge post-international break. Goal differences favor Marseille (+19), but the race intensifies with seven rounds left; key upcoming fixtures include PSG hosting Toulouse on April 3 and Monaco's home clash against Marseille on April 5, where rest advantages and head-to-head form could shift standings dramatically.
