Defending champions AG Super Play stunned top-seeded JD Gaming 4-0 on March 28, overcoming their 0-3 group stage loss to Wolves on March 21 and a middling 2-3 Stage 3 Group S finish. Wolves, runners-up in Stage 3 at 4-1 with strong map control, grinded out a 4-3 thriller over KSG on March 29 behind MVPs Point and Letter. AG's stand-ins Zoe (for RanXiang) and Sheng (for XiaoFan) introduce uncertainty, while Wolves' recent head-to-head edge tempers AG's historical 14-6 series lead.
