Arsenal's nine-point lead atop the Premier League table with 70 points from 31 matches, bolstered by a +39 goal difference, positions Manchester City as the overwhelming trader consensus at 81.5% implied probability to finish 2nd, given City's 61 points from 30 games and a favorable game in hand that could narrow the gap to six. City's recent 2-0 Carabao Cup final victory over Arsenal on March 22 underscores their momentum, despite back-to-back draws in league form (V V V D D), while Arsenal's solid run (D V V V V) sustains their title charge. Manchester United (55 points) and Aston Villa (54 points) trail too far for realistic 2nd-place threats absent major collapses, with 7-8 fixtures remaining including City's testing Chelsea clash.
