The White Ferns hold a slim trader consensus edge at 55% implied probability to claim the ODI series after leveling it 1-1 with a record-breaking chase of South Africa's 346 in the second match at Basin Reserve, powered by Amelia Kerr's unbeaten 179 off 139 balls—the highest individual score in a successful women's ODI pursuit. South Africa snatched the opener by two wickets via debutant Kayla Reyneke's last-ball six and Ayabonga Khaka's 6-56, but New Zealand's home advantage, Kerr's all-round dominance, and superior recent batting firepower in high-scoring conditions tilt sentiment toward the hosts ahead of the decider. No major injury concerns reported, keeping the matchup closely contested with upset potential on seaming pitches.
