In the Central American Cricket Championships 2026 at Reforma Athletic Club in Naucalpan, Brazil faces Costa Rica in their debut T20I head-to-head after both suffered opening-day defeats to host Mexico—Brazil falling 23 runs short at 130/4 chasing 154, while Costa Rica collapsed to 80/7 pursuing 205. Costa Rica (T20I rank 81, 44% all-time win rate) holds a slight edge over Brazil (87th, 25% win rate), but recent form favors neither, with Brazil winless in five and Costa Rica 2-3 in last five.
