Wolf (6-4, 6-4) and Darwin Blanch (6-4, 7-6(4)) on Houston's outdoor clay courts over the weekend, marking his first ATP main draw on the surface. Wildcard Zhizhen Zhang, down to No. 270 after a career-high No. 31 in 2024, brings stronger lifetime clay stats (123-81 career) but poor 2026 form at 3-4 overall, including a recent Miami qualifying loss; no head-to-head history exists. Trader consensus reflects Jones' fresher clay match play versus Zhang's experience amid ranking slide, with baseline rallies and River Oaks conditions key factors in this ATP 250 opener.
