Both squads advanced undefeated through early bracket rounds with 3-0 wins, but OpTic's veteran core—Shotzzy, Dashy, Huke, and surging rook Mercules—has outpaced FaZe in recent official matchups despite competitive scrims where FaZe edged map counts. This BO5 rematch tests stylistic edges in Hardpoint, Search & Destroy, and Control on the current Black Ops 6 meta, with no roster changes or bans reported ahead of Championship Sunday. Trader consensus reflects OpTic's qualifiers edge and head-to-head superiority amid FaZe's resilient playoff run.
