This market will resolve to "Yes" if Valve removes the listed map from the official map pool by June 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, and the removal lasts continuously for at least 48 hours. The "official map pool" refers to the Active Duty map group in CS2, used for competitive matchmaking (Premier mode) and professional tournaments. For the purpose of this market, “Valve” refers to Valve Corporation, the developer and publisher of the Counter-Strike series. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Valve; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Valve's April 29 release of the redesigned Cache map into competitive matchmaking, casual, deathmatch, and retakes modes—followed by tuning updates on May 1—has intensified speculation for the next active duty map pool rotation in CS2 Premier. The current seven-map pool (Anubis, Ancient, Dust 2, Inferno, Mirage, Nuke, Overpass) was last altered January 22, when Anubis replaced Train for Season 4. Pro players like donk and m0NESY recently voiced support for swapping Inferno for Cache, citing its potential to refresh metas amid stagnant win rates on Inferno. Traders weigh Valve's pattern of seasonal Premier updates and major prep, with no confirmed changes announced yet ahead of June 30.
