Post-round-of-16 second legs concluded March 19, Nottingham Forest's Igor Jesus holds a slim lead among active players with seven goals after Ludogorets' elimination, yet trader consensus bunches Celta Vigo, Porto, Forest, and Aston Villa at 43-44% implied probabilities for producing the top scorer, underscoring the knockout phase's volatility. Quarterfinal ties—Porto vs. Nottingham Forest, SC Freiburg vs. Celta Vigo, Braga vs. Real Betis—feature prolific threats like Betis' Antony (five goals), Bologna's Federico Bernardeschi (five), Celta's Swedberg (four), and Braga's Ricardo Horta (three goals, four assists), all capable of surging via aggregate victories or penalty shootouts. Freiburg's 5-1 rout of Genk boosted their attack, while clean sheets and draws (e.g., Celta's 1-1 at Betis) preserved momentum without decisive breaks, keeping the race deadlocked ahead of April legs.
