Trader consensus in the UEFA Champions League most cards market reflects a razor-thin race among physical midfielders and defenders, with Álvaro Fernández Carreras (Benfica), Konrad Laimer (Bayern Munich), and Martín Zubimendi (Real Sociedad) all at three yellows through Matchday 4, implying 44-44.5% probabilities apiece. Recent bookings—Laimer cautioned in Bayern's 4-0 rout of Celtic, Fernández in Benfica's 1-0 win over Red Star Belgrade, and Zubimendi during Sociedad's loss to Manchester City—have maintained the deadlock, as their high-tackle volumes and combative styles persist amid grueling league phase schedules. Arsenal duo Declan Rice and Mikel Merino (two cards each) trail closely at 42.5% and 40%, bolstered by recent form, while Kim Min-Jae's aggressive defending gives him 38%; Lamine Yamal lags at 21% with one caution, highlighting the edge for enforcers in physical matchups ahead.

For the purpose of this market, a disciplinary card will count as a yellow card, a direct red card, or a red card resulting from the accumulation of two yellow cards in the same match. A 2nd yellow card accumulated in a match which results in a red card will count as one card in the final count, not a separate yellow and red card. The tally of these cards will be counted as reflected on the official UEFA Champions League website (https://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/statistics/players/disciplinary/).
In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official leader as determined by UEFA Champions League rules. If multiple leaders are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically.
If the 2025-26 Champions League competition is cancelled, postponed after June 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no official leader declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The resolution source for this market will be official information from UEFA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
