Incumbent Republican Warren Davidson faces Democrat Vanessa Enoch in Ohio’s 8th congressional district on November 3, 2026, after both secured their party nominations in the May 5 primaries. The district’s Republican-leaning partisan voting index and recent redistricting that preserved its favorable boundaries underpin the strong trader consensus favoring the Republican nominee. Davidson’s established incumbency and the absence of competitive primary challenges or notable late developments have kept the race rated solidly Republican by independent forecasters, limiting Democratic prospects absent major shifts in turnout or national conditions before Election Day.
