Kyle Schwarber holds the top spot in the MLB home run race with 22 through late May, extending his lead after a solo shot on May 29 that pushed him clear of the pack. His early-season power surge for the Phillies, combined with a pace projecting well above 50 long balls, underpins the 42 percent implied probability traders assign him. Aaron Judge sits second in the market at 28 percent despite trailing with 17 homers, reflecting his proven track record of multiple 50-plus home run campaigns and strong Yankees lineup support. Yordan Alvarez and Munetaka Murakami, both at 20 homers, command single-digit shares as consistent power threats for the Astros and White Sox, while emerging options like James Wood and Matt Olson trail further amid the competitive early-season distribution of at-bats and favorable matchups.
