Trader consensus favors the New York Yankees at 35.5% implied probability to win the 2026 AL East, driven by FanGraphs projections awarding them an 87-win pace and top divisional odds around 45%, bolstered by Aaron Judge's sustained power and a stable rotation despite modest offseason activity. Toronto Blue Jays (24%) gained ground via high-profile signings like Max Scherzer and a seven-year Dylan Cease extension, positioning their pitching as a division-best strength per recent previews. Baltimore Orioles (20.5%) and Boston Red Sox (20%) remain competitive threats amid an ultra-tight race—projections cluster all four atop teams near 85-89 wins—fueled by Baltimore's spending spree on vets like Thairo Estrada and Boston's lineup upgrades, while Tampa Bay Rays (6.3%) trail with roster uncertainties and lower payroll commitments highlighted in past week's power rankings.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the team whose listed nickname comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to be named the 2026 American League East division champion per the rules of the MLB (e.g., they are eliminated in the playoffs), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”.
If the 2026 MLB regular season is cancelled, postponed after October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from Major League Baseball (https://www.mlb.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
