RC Lens tops trader consensus at 72% implied probability for Ligue 1 second place after holding a one-point deficit to leaders Paris Saint-Germain (60 points from 26 matches vs. Lens' 59 from 27), bolstered by 19 wins apiece and a superior goal difference. PSG's 44% reflects realistic title concession risk following their March 6 home defeat to Monaco and a postponed head-to-head clash amid Champions League duties, while a recent 4-0 win at Nice reclaimed the summit. Lyon's 40.5% and Marseille's 29% stem from their pursuit 10-12 points back in the table standings, fueled by solid recent form including Lyon's win streak earlier in the campaign, though the top duo's consistency and remaining schedule favor separation for automatic Champions League qualification.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve to the team officially recognized by Ligue 1 as finishing in second place. If multiple teams are officially awarded second place, the market will resolve to the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish 2nd in the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season (e.g. they are mathematically unable to achieve enough points), the market will resolve to "No".
If the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season is cancelled, postponed after May 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no 2nd place team declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from Ligue 1. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
