Lamine Yamal's league-leading 11 assists through 28 La Liga appearances, paired with strong supporting numbers in big chances created and dribbles, has established him as the clear frontrunner for the 2025-26 top assists honor. Barcelona's attacking system funnels creative opportunities through the 18-year-old right winger, whose per-90 output and volume have kept him ahead of closest challengers like Luis Milla (10) and players at nine assists. Trader consensus reflects this sustained edge and the limited remaining fixtures. Only an improbable late surge by multiple rivals combined with a sharp drop in Yamal's involvement—due to injury, rotation, or suspension—could realistically shift the outcome before the season concludes.
